My body, my rules

My body, my rules may sound like a cliché, but it carries a powerful message when it comes to the exploration of one's sexuality—a journey that never truly ends. Sexuality is the expression of one’s physical, emotional, and psychological self in relation to intimacy, desire, and identity.

This is a triptych, consisting of my buttocks, a painting of menstruation, and a vulva. The first piece leans towards realism, the second sits in the middle, and the third is more abstract, avoiding a direct approach. The project continues with photographs depicting a multicolored body, elements of the heart, and sexual beginnings.

In the past, I viewed my body simply as something that exists. Now, I’ve begun exploring it, finding beauty in its shapes and curves. It’s another object study. This project is about me, my body, and my rules.
