Illustrations
Each illustration emerged from specific circumstances and was inspired by distinct periods or singular events in my life. Together, they represent fragments of my personal journey, capturing moments of introspection and emotion.
Some of the illustrations, particularly the abstract ones, could be described as organic abstractions. These pieces take me back to my school days, specifically to biology textbooks when we studied cell structures. The images are asymmetrical, much like cells themselves or something you'd observe under a microscope. If you look closely, you can discern elements reminiscent of nuclei, mitochondria, cytoplasm, and other cell parts. You may even spot scattered forms that resemble body parts—hands, eyes, heads—creating the illusion of a narrator guiding us through the work, occasionally pointing things out.
Another section of the works I would call Gazes. We all know the saying, "the eyes are the windows to the soul"; it's through a gaze that we can express our feelings without words. Here, we find paintings inspired by Asian figures, self-portraits, and realistic gazes from pets.
One standout piece depicts two lovers holding hands in the whirlwind of life, which is never simply a color of harmony and peace, but rather a spectrum of emotions.
